Why are weekends so short?

Friday blasted so fast for me, I promised Lori to watch her play on Saturday, she did pretty well, the girl on 2nd base thought she was the next Britany Spears and did a song and dance the majority of the third inning, as the majority of the balls cruised past her as she did her performance. Lori calmly walked over to her and gave her the finger/shake/ slash/point; the girl paid attention the rest of the game. I cackled in laughter.
Saturday night it was a night at the pub to listen to Trace twang away, in my best Barry White impression “Loveeee songs”. I think Michelle really has her hooks in him now, he’s with the googly eyes - elbow on table - chin propped up on his hand - staring right at her - mode. He is ring hunting which really blew my mind; he has been with her a little over a year, gradually progressing to the stage they are in. I’m sure it was a long hard row for Michelle to get to that point with him. He had some major trust issues when it came to women but she’s charmed him and calmed him down somewhat.
Sunday was a busy day as well; I desperately needed a server upgrade between the office and the Greenhouse connections. That was a production in its self, right before my huge dinner with G.
The way the Greenhouse is booming I really needed the new equipment, I was hoping that it would have come in last month when Jacks was around but of course there was no luck on that. So it only prompted me to call him when it did arrive and ask him to talk me through setting everything up. This of course meant that I would interfere with his time and his latest “victim”. Truthfully I asked Jess before I mentioned to Jacks that everything might be in for him to help me install. She agreed to lend him out for “an hour” wow, you are so generous there! I knew she was kidding me.
Over two hours later the server was up and running, he was in a slight panic due to the fact it was longer than required, just prior to that, his electricity blew out for the second time that weekend. He later found out the construction men behind him blew it the first event then a small animal worked its way in a power box and blew itself to smithereens to knock out half the down town area of electricity. I assured him his lady would be happily waiting on him just to chill out.
I called him later to check how badly he was shamed for being so tardy, he said not too bad but my ears should be burning… hum wait a minute, they are!
